Day 1Buenos AiresDiscover the barrios (neighbourhoods) of Buenos Aires, like the football-crazy district of La Boca, with its atmospheric pedestrian walk, local artists and great cantinas.
Days 2ColoniaRide a ferry across the Rio de la Plata to Uruguay and to the impossibly cute Colonia. Indulge in its many restaurants and enjoy the great river views.
Days 3-4MontevideoHead to the Mercado del Puerto for food, hang out with local musicians and enjoy the relaxed vibe in this laid-back capital city. There are lots of great museums here, like the Casa Rivera with a panoramic painting of Montevideo in the days of old.
Days 5-7Ranch StayThings are simple down on the ranch - and you are sure to love every moment of this stay on a local estancia. Helping out with farm chores is a highlight, and could include anything from sheep herding to working in the garden.
Days 8-10Iguazu FallsWhy not cross by launch boat to the Isla San Grand Martin for a unique view of the mighty falls?
